Tokuyama Corporation has always been a pioneer since it was started as one of Japan's first
producer of soda ash in 1918.
Guided by the spirit of innovation, Tokuyama has steadily expanded to encompass the production
of cement, inorganic chemicals , organic chemicals, plastics, and other materials.
Tokuyama is also engaged in the high-potential fields of electronics and biomedical materials, fine
ceramics, and fine chemicals.
While Tokuyama pursues our goal to create new businesses as well as to improve existing ones,
Tokuyama is also conscious of our environmental responsibilities. To contribute a global
responsibility for safety and environmental issues, Tokuyama had attained the prestigious
ISO 14001 certification in 1998.
Tokuyama's global network extends into Europe, North America, China, and Southeast Asia in
order to improve our business performance.

Tokuyama Asia Pacific pte.Ltd. was established in June 1996 as a strategic base in Southeast
Asian market.
Since we launched our business in this region, We have gained the reliability in supplying high
quality products and receving good response from our customers and have been increasing the
demands of Tokuyama's products.
To meet the regional demands, we are marketing together with two plants in Southeast Asia.

Tokuyama's core production base , Tokuyama Factory integrates a number of
manufacturing operations. The plant boasts one of Japan's largest non-utility
power stations. To maximize the cost-saving potential of this facility, the plant
combines energy-intensive activities with others to ensure high overall
production efficiency.
